Integrated Stone Massage

INTEGRATIVE STONE MASSAGE uses stones and integrates Swedish Massage, deep tissue and sports massage techniques, Inyan Mani (stone walking), Ho'omana Lomi Lomi that follows in the lineage of the Big Island Style (Hawaiian massage), Joint Mobility and/or Acupressure rooted in Zen Shiatsu. The first session includes an intake.

Integrated Positional Therapy (IPT)

This initial session includes an intake with visual assessment. IPT uses Strain/Counterstrain, Muscle Energy Technique and gentle stretches to re-align the body’s structure and relieve pain caused by postural imbalances. This session includes an at-home suggested self-care plan. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

The Pop-In

Available for either MASSAGE or IPT, the POP-IN session is for current clients only (previously seen) to address a problem area that feels like it shouldn't wait until your next appointment. The POP-IN may blend a pin & stretch technique with another massage therapy to help restore range of motion and decrease pain. (If pain is acute or due to a recent injury, please consult your doctor before seeing me.)

TMJ Releasing Massage

For anyone diagnosed and struggling with Temporomandibular Jaw pain (TMJ), this session offers whole-body massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, including intraoral massage (inside the mouth), to release the pterygoids, masseter and temporalis muscles and alleviate jaw, neck and shoulder pain. Includes self-care tips and the first session includes an intake.

Complementary Service

STONE SYMBOLS are layouts that intuitively develop from the stones used during sessions. They naturally occur as the stones are removed from the client and are placed on another sheet. By the client's request prior to the session, the stone symbol is a free supplement to any 75 or 90-minute massage at Solace. (The symbol in this photograph was given to Erin Lambert Hartman by one of her mentors. It depicts a medicine wheel, her central connection to Creator, and the loving community that supports and benefits from her healing arts practice today.)
